We have been hosting a series of informative sessions to help you prepare for and engage with Higher Education study.
Sessions are self-directed and include a series of worksheets to help you apply your learnings. Join us and start building the academic foundations to help you achieve.
Studying with us and need support?
Throughout your studies at UCEN Manchester, you can access one-to-one and group study skills support sessions with our dedicated Student Engagement Officer.
These sessions are designed to support your upcoming assignments and your wider academic development. Topics include:
- Managing deadlines and staying organised
- Building confidence
- Overcoming procrastination
- Developing presentation skills
- Understanding assignment briefs
- Improving academic writing skills
- Planning and structuring assignments
- Developing effective note-taking skills.
