Working in partnership for GM Higher, we are able to call on their support to provide you with the best outreach offers and experiences. Together we ensure students of all background have high aspirations for themselves and are provided the support they need to progress to degree-level study.
Our workshops
Personal Statement Workshop
This session gives students the tools they need to write a great personal statement. Throughout this workshop we will cover what a personal statement is, how to create an effective structure, the dos and don’ts, and some inside tips.
Introduction to UCAS
We cover the entire process, from how to use UCAS to research courses and higher education providers, to completing your application and then managing your offers.
Mythbusters: Student Finance Edition
In this session we go through a variety of myths that exist around student finance and the costs of going to university.
Should I stay, or should I go?
This considers the argument of staying at home vs moving into student accommodation whilst studying in higher education.
Game of life: Budget edition
An interactive roleplay session which tasks students with designing their best life while staying in budget.
The great debate: Should you go to university?
In this session your students will be divided into groups where they will go head-to-head to argue for or against going to university.
