Nasara Jallow has earned first-class honours in our BA (Hons) Integrated Health and Social Care course and is now one step closer to becoming a qualified adult nurse.

We spoke to Nasara about her experience studying at UCEN Manchester, her long-term goals, and why she picked UCEN Manchester.

Why did you choose UCEN Manchester?

I was studying Health and Social Care at The Manchester College and when I finished, I didn't know what to do. Luckily, my tutor from The Manchester College told me, "Why not try to do your Level 4 at UCEN Manchester?" And you know what? It’s the best thing I've done.

How do feel now you have achieved your qualification?

I am very honoured and very proud. It wasn't easy. I put a lot of work into it, but at the end of the day, it does pay off. I am very, very happy.

What was it like to study at UCEN Manchester?

Studying at UCEN Manchester has been fantastic. The resources are amazing, and the facilities are great. It's never easy studying as an adult while working and taking care of your family, but UCEN Manchester makes it as easy as possible for us.

What are your long-term career aspirations?

My goal is to be a qualified adult nurse, and maybe become a manager in the healthcare sector, who knows?

Would you recommend UCEN Manchester?

With the amazing tutors and small class sizes, you get all the attention and support that you want from the tutors. They help you left, right and centre. I want to thank all my tutors who helped me achieve all this. I recommend UCEN Manchester a hundred percent.
