Why did you choose UCEN Manchester?

I chose UCEN Manchester because of the tuition fees and the equipment that they can offer to students. They have a lot of equipment and small classes, so it's a fair play game when you're using, and gaining experience on, the equipment.

How do feel now you have achieved your qualification?

I feel very happy with the qualifications I've achieved. I've worked very hard and it was a lot of restless nights and juggling studying with work. It was a lot of dedication and I feel like it has paid off with a very good achievement.

What was it like to study at UCEN Manchester?

It was really fun. The things that UCEN Manchester offered as well in terms of support, including the bursary, really helped me out.

UCEN Manchester also has Cisco Networking Academy attached to it, so you get qualifications not only with UCEN Manchester but also with Cisco.

Also, when working with the equipment we didn't need to share devices between students because we had our own devices; that's what really stood out for me about UCEN Manchester.

My time at UCEN Manchester was absolutely amazing and to be honest, I'm actually kind of sad to leave.

What are your long-term career aspirations?

Next, I'd like to secure a job as a junior or graduate Network Engineer. I really would love to work towards cyber security, so long term, I would like to be a Network Engineer or a Cybersecurity Engineer.

Would you recommend UCEN Manchester?

I would recommend UCEN Manchester to all students applying for whatever course you're applying for. It doesn’t have big classes, so you get that one-to-one time with your lecturers and you get seen more, your skills get brought up more. I would definitely recommend UCEN Manchester.
