Phill came to UCEN Manchester as a mature student with clear goals and a drive to unlock the potential he always knew he had.
He said: “It was a relaxed learning environment for both courses and once I had the success of the Foundation Degree under my belt, the Top-up course felt like a natural progression in a similar, comfortable environment.
“I suffer from mental health problems and the tutors were so supportive of me throughout my time here; they genuinely cared about me and my progress, which was a very personal touch.
I left school with next to nothing in qualifications, but I always knew I had the ability in me to achieve something, so I came here with a point to prove and UCEN Manchester helped me to prove it.
