At UCEN Manchester, we recognise the commitment needed to start and sustain a Higher Education course.  That's why our first-year students have the opportunity to access bursary funds worth up to £1500 as well as an additional £500 'Study Plus' payment.

Our £500 Study Plus payment is available to the first 50 applicants who apply and accept their offer of a place at UCEN Manchester within the clearing window of Tuesday 27 August to Friday 6 September 2024. If you meet our eligibility criteria*, the payment will be issued in January 2025.

*To be eligible for your £500 Study Plus payment you will need to:

  • Apply and accept your offer from UCEN Manchester between Tuesday 27 August and Friday 6 September 2024 and be a UCEN Manchester student on or after Friday 31 January 2025

  • Be a student starting your first year of study with UCEN Manchester in the academic year 2024/25

  • Have a UK bank account and you must have provided these details to UCEN Manchester along with any identification requirements

  • Be a resident in the UK

  • Remain enrolled at UCEN Manchester for at least the duration of Semester 1 (until January 31 2025) and during this time actively participate in your course by submitting all Semester 1 modules

  • Not use your bursary for any immoral or illegal purposes or for any purposes that bring UCEN Manchester or The Manchester College into disrepute.
