UCEN Manchester Freshers’ Festival 2019 is fast approaching!
UCEN Manchester Freshers’ Festival 2019 is fast approaching! This is a rite of passage for new students to meet new friends, embrace new study and surroundings, and help to make memories that will last a lifetime. Get your free Freshers’ Guide on campus and in your enrolment pack.
Our week-long Freshers’ Festival runs from Monday 16 to Friday 20 September. During the week, we’ll be hosting BBQ’s at various campuses so drop by, have a drink and enjoy the vibe. Just get there before the free food runs out!
BBQ dates and locations: 12pm (following your induction presentation with Future U)
Monday 16 September - Openshaw Campus
Tuesday 17 September - Fielden Campus
Wednesday 18 September – Nichols Campus
On Thursday 19 September, we will be hosting our annual Freshers’ Fair at Frog and Bucket on Great Ancoats and Oldham Street between 2pm and 4pm. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet the Students’ Union President and SU Officers, learn what they do, how you can get involved, join a society – or maybe even start your own!
You’ll be able to chat with fellow students and find out anything from the best city hotspots, to how you can have your student voice heard. We will also be joined by representatives from the Careers and Welfare Team, Manchester Homes and other support networks.
Freshers’ Festival is one of the biggest events in the UCEN Manchester calendar. Expect live music, a photo-booth, discounts from local companies and freebies for those who get there fast enough. What’s not to love?!
