Over 450 UCEN Manchester and Total People graduates celebrated their graduation on 21 November
Over 450 UCEN Manchester and Total People students and apprentices celebrated their graduation on Wednesday 21 November, in a prestigious double ceremony at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.
The day, which was live streamed on social media, saw students from Criminology and Social Justice; Health and Care Professions; Sport and Exercise Science and The Arden School of Theatre and Performing Arts graduate in the morning. Total People apprentices and UCEN Manchester’s Business and Management; Construction and the Built Environment; Computing; Creative Arts and Digital Media; Make-up Artistry and Special Effects; Manchester Film School and Teacher Education students took to the stage in the afternoon.
Ali Nassar graduated in Public Services and Social Justice, his father attended the ceremony with him and said: “I’m very happy, I’ve waited a long time to be here. This is the best day for me.”
Michael Walsh, Dean of UCEN Manchester, addressed the audience and said: “Congratulations to each and every one of you. The pride of your family and friends is shared by your personal tutors and colleagues at UCEN Manchester and Total People.
“You’re about to start a new journey and your qualification will provide you with an opportunity to contribute to your regions and communities success. It is now your time to shine and find your future.”
