Our recommendations for new releases on streaming platforms this December

With the festive period set to be a socially limited one, now more than ever we’re all going to be relying on the delights of Christmas TV and bottomless treasure chest that is online streaming to keep us entertained in the holidays.

To help save some wasted hours of flicking through the channels or scrolling through Netflix recommendations we’ve pulled together a few recommendations for your watchlist during the festive break.

And if you want to make it a more social experience, why not watch with friends with an online watch party using Netflix Party where you can synchronise the viewing and have a virtual chat at the same time. OK it isn’t quite the same as getting together but it will keep you connected during the holidays.

Want something to make you feel good, that’s easy watching, and has a classic ‘festive film’ feel to it? Then this sequel to The Christmas Chronicles should be right up you street as we get to find out more about the relationship between Mr and Mrs Claus……

On the Telly

If you are a fan of the comedy show ‘Ghosts’ you won’t want to miss this Christmas special. Mike and Alison aim to host the perfect family Christmas and rediscover the real meaning of the festive period in the process.
