Our Openshaw campus is a welcoming environment, providing courses for school leavers, adults, higher level students and professionals.

Situated close to the Etihad Stadium, Openshaw campus was refurbished in 2021 offering state-of-the-art facilities that match the standards that professionals use in the real world every day. This vibrant, modern campus was specifically designed to offer a supportive learning and social environment and has all the spaces and facilities needed for a fantastic student experience.

Facilities include: 
•    a Starbucks café and refectory with hot and cold options 
•    dedicated library for independent and group study 
•    Opening this Autumn, an outdoor multi-sports pitch with spectator seating so you can watch the latest matches

Openshaw is a suburb of east Manchester, a short bus ride from Manchester’s city centre. Sportcity and the City of Manchester Stadium are close to the campus. Sportcity has a number of sports venues and fitness and sports facilities for the public.

Did you know? Gorton Monastery, behind Openshaw Campus, was named one of the most endangered sites in the world in 1997, alongside Pompeii, Taj Mahal and Valley of the Kings. It was nicknamed ‘Manchester’s Taj Mahal’ and has now been restored.

Bus routes to Openshaw include: C20, 219, 220, 221 53, 203, 216, 201, 188, 205, 206. The Metrolink Velopark and Etihad Campus stations are around 20 minutes' walk from the campus, while Ashburys Railway Station is 10 minutes away on foot.
