UCEN Manchester named Check Point SecureAcademy partner

A landmark month as UCEN Manchester secures second major industry link.

UCEN Manchester has officially joined the Check Point SecureAcademy programme, marking a second significant industry partnership within a single month.

The partnership with Check Point, a global pioneer in cyber security, follows in quick succession to our recent Fortinet Academic partnership.

By embedding Check Point’s SecureAcademy curriculum into computing programmes, UCEN Manchester students will benefit from:

Specialised expertise: integration of Check Point’s advanced security architecture into the classroom

Professional certification: clear pathways to industry-standard credentials that command respect in the global job market

Practical application: direct experience with the enterprise-level technologies currently used to protect the world’s largest organisations

The partnership with Check Point will ensure that graduates enter the workforce with a versatile skill set, capable of navigating a complex and ever-evolving threat landscape.

Michael Walsh, Deputy Principal and Dean, said:

To secure a partnership with Check Point so soon after our Fortinet announcement is a significant achievement for our School of Computing and Cybersecurity, reflecting the pace at which we are growing our connections with leading employers.

“It further builds on UCEN Manchester’s existing relationships with the Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Academy, Cisco Networking Academy and AWS Academy, ensuring UCEN Manchester remains at the forefront of multi-vendor technical education.

“By providing access to multiple industry leaders, we ensure our students possess the technical agility and professional confidence required by modern employers.”
