The Access to HE Teacher Training course is an academic and vocational course, which features school placements, a blend of key National Curriculum (English and History), and relevant core education units including Practical Teaching Skills, Lesson Preparation, Learning Difficulties, Assessment Strategies, and Attainment.
The course also includes a CRB/DBS Check, preparation for the QTS Skills Test component, and a Micro-Teach, in which students plan, prepare, and deliver a lesson to their peers.
