Student Loan Company contact centre closed

Support still available from UCEN Manchester

UCEN Manchester students should be aware that the Student Loan Company (SLC) telephone contact centre is currently closed as part of its response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

SLC has advised that this is temporary while they work to restore service as quickly as possible and applies to both new and existing students.

New and existing students can continue to apply for student finance as normal online and SLC will continue to process any applications they have received as quickly as possible. 

The closure will not impact summer term maintenance payments to students or tuition fee payments to education providers. These payments will be made as normal.
