Higher education provider receives strong National Student Survey scores in Teaching and Learning, Assessment & Feedback and Student Voice
UCEN Manchester is proud to announce its 2024–25 National Student Survey (NSS) outcomes, which showed strong improvement across all themes on its 2023-24 scores, with its results beating national benchmarks in six of the nine categories. The outcomes included particularly strong scores in Teaching and Learning, Assessment & Feedback and Student Voice.
The NSS, an independent national survey, is one of the key indicators of how students rate their higher education experience. This year, 80% of eligible final-year students responded.

Michael Walsh, Dean and Deputy Principal, commented: “I’m absolutely delighted with both the improvements in our NSS results and the fact we have performed so strongly against national benchmarks. This is a credit to the dedication and professionalism of both our curriculum and wider student support teams.
“UCEN Manchester is committed to our ‘believe in different’ ethos and providing a higher education experience which is uniquely different while retaining the quality required for higher-level study. Achieving strong results like these across all areas — especially in core themes like Teaching and Learning — demonstrates that we achieve this both in terms of quality of education and the support that we provide.
“As students consider their options this summer, these send a strong message: we are a trusted, high-quality provider committed to helping students reach their goals.”
