Open Mic Night

This is our second Open Mic Night of the year, led by our Open Mic Society.  The theme for the event will be transgender awareness.  If you play any instruments, or just want to watch, get in contact with our Students’ Union or Halle Fallows via Microsoft Teams or the society’s Instagram account @micnightsociety_arden.  There will be free pizza from all students that attend, and performers will also receive a free drink of their choice.  This promises to be a fun night to remember.

Christmas Jumper Day

Christmas Jumper Day is an annual event organised by Save the Children, which aims to raise money for the children who need it most.

Every December, millions of people across the United Kingdom (and beyond) put on a festive knit at their workplace, school or with friends, and make a donation to help give children the future they deserve.

At UCEN Manchester this means…wear your best (or worst) Christmas jumper in support of Save the Children.  If you wish to donate, more information will be shared via our Students’ Union’s social media accounts.

And to top it all off, there will be the chance to win some amazing prizes at our fun festive quiz with free hot chocolate for all those who participate!

Festive Afternoon

The fun packed festive afternoon at our Openshaw Campus will be a laid-back experience, and a chance to enjoy free hot chocolate and win some amazing prizes at our festive quiz!

Festive Mixer

Mulled wine, mince pies, a festive choir and best of all, they’re free.  The Festive Mixer is a great way to prepare for the holiday season, strengthen existing bonds and meet students that you’ve never met before.  Take part and make new friends from across our Schools.
