Harpurhey is a welcoming environment where students have a wide range of courses from which to choose, including Acting, Business, Film Production, Forensics, and Medical Sciences. The environmentally-friendly campus features a modern building and the restored Harpurhey Baths, a Grade II listed building transformed into an award-winning exhibition space for students and the community.
The campus boasts large social spaces and a garden, and many of the facilities at the campus are open to the community.
Situated three miles north-east of Manchester city centre, Harpurhey has a popular market and shopping district at the heart of the community, which are ideal for picking up the daily essentials.
It is also home to Queen’s Park, established in 1846 as one of Britain’s first municipal parks. The park, featuring a children’s play area and rose gardens, is within walking distance of the campus and regularly hosts community events.
Bus routes to Harpurhey include 52, 81, 112, 17, 64, 113, 131, 163, 88, 89, 118, 188, 77, 53, 115, 116, 151 and 164. Woodlands Road Metrolink is little more than one mile away from the campus and has a limited service, 10am-4pm, Monday-Friday. Abraham Moss station is slightly further away.
