What is clearing?
Clearing gives places to students on university courses that haven't been filled. More than 60,000 students gained an undergraduate place through clearing last year. Clearing is a good option for undergraduate applicants that decide to change course after receiving their results or didn't achieve the conditions for their firm and insurance choice on UCAS.
How does clearing work?
You can go through clearing if
- You have a UCAS undergraduate application with no offers
- Your exam results have been published
- You apply within the clearing dates for 2019 entry
The clearing process is incredibly straightforward. Simply figure out what course you would be interested in doing from the list above and call the dedicated clearing number to discuss it further with someone from UCEN Manchester. You will be given instructions for next steps once you have confirmed your interest in the course. Deciding which course to choose through clearing?
