If you’re dreaming of owning and running your own salon and are ready to develop your skills in this area further, then this Level 4 Diploma in Salon Management is the ideal course for you.

You’ll learn exactly what it takes to be a successful salon manager, covering all the skills and knowledge you’ll require for the hair and beauty industry. Focusing on developing your management skills and technical abilities, you’ll look at how to ensure effective health, safety and security in the salon, as well as how to keep excellent client care at the forefront of your business.

If you’d like to enrol on this Level 4 Salon Management Diploma, you’ll need to have either a Level 3 qualification in a hair and beauty subject, or significant experience working in this industry. You should also have a Level 2 English qualification as well.
As part of the assessment for this qualification, you’ll need to produce a portfolio of evidence, which will confirm the knowledge, understanding and skills you’ve learnt during the diploma. This will include observed work, witness statements, audio-visual media, written and oral questions, assignments and case studies.
You may need to pay tuition fees for this course and there may be some additional equipment cost too. If you’re not sure about how to afford college, there are a number of support options that could help you, depending on your age and circumstances. These include special grants and bursaries, reductions in fees, and loans just for education.
