Healthcare Practice (January Start)
The Pearson BTEC Level 4 HNC in Health and Social Care (Health Pathway) provides a specialist work-related programme of study that covers the key knowledge, understanding and practical skills required in the health and social care sector and also offers particular specialist emphasis through the choice of specialist units.
BTEC Level 4 HNCs provide a nationally recognised qualification offering career progression and professional development for those already in employment and opportunities to progress into higher education. .
This course is supported by focused study in areas of health and social care including specially designed units. You will be given the opportunity to develop and contribute to the health and social care environment through the combination of the knowledge and skills gained in different parts of the programme. The course includes 200 hours mandatory work experience.

Academic Entry requirements
• Access to HE Diploma from a QAA recognised Access to HE course.
• 48 UCAS points
• We strongly recommend that all applicants have GCSE English Language and Mathematics grades A*-C or level 9-4.
• BTEC Level 3 qualification/ Level 3 90 Credit Diploma in Care/Health Studies or related area
