Want to study the chemical and biological processes and how they interact with the Earth and the effects on ecology and sustainability?

Are you thinking of studying for a degree in a Science-based subject but don’t quite have the qualifications that you need? If so, our Level 3 Access to Higher Education Diploma in Environmental Science will give you that stepping-stone you need.

You’ll study a wide range of topics including Energy Resources, Conservation and Countryside Management as well as applying practical skills to a Scientific Project, studying Human Activity and Environmental Degradation with Chemical and Biological Analysis.

As you balance a number of simultaneous assignments and deadlines, you’ll be developing the important skills and abilities that are valued by university admissions tutors and potential employers. This includes being able to write academic essays, complete reliable research, and critically analyse documents, all of which you’ll learn on this Access Diploma as you prepare for university

Applicants will require GCSEs at grade C/4 or above in both Maths and English. You can study a Maths GCSE alongside this diploma if needed.
You’ll be assessed continuously throughout this Access Diploma. This will include academic essays and reports, lectures, projects, presentations, seminars and exams.
